Key concepts, requirements and implications of fringe benefits tax (FBT)


The training session will be on key concepts, requirements and implications of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT). The training will be delivered online by trainer Gerry Lillicrap.

Gerry worked in the Federal Government for 22 years, primarily in accounting roles, including internal and external audit.  He has been a member and then Chair of the ACIAR Audit Committee; a company Director for the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia; Chair of the Finance Committee and Board Member for John 23rd College ANU.

Agenda: FBT is tax on benefits (right, privilege, service or facility) that are provided to employees and their partners or children. The benefits are normally in respect of employment as reward for service.
